Jay Gilbert from Burnside Brewing will be here pouring samples of the three beers they started bottleing just a couple months ago - IPA, Oatmeal Pale Ale, and Stock Ale.
Brian Perky, of Muntons Malted Ingredients, will take us through a tasting of 6 Hefeweizens. Hefeweizens are a south German style of wheat beer (weissbier).
Josh Phriem, head brewer at one of the upcoming Hood River breweries, Pfriem Brewing Company, will be our host next week as we learn about and taste 5 Belgian Strong Dark Ales.
Nathan Zorich (Homebrewer and Beer Judge) will take us through an evening of 5 Barrel Aged beers of different styles. Taste what different types of barrels contribute to different styles of beers.
We begin the series with an evening of Porters hosted by Jason Stepper of Wy'East Labs. Jason will lead a discussion and tasting of 6 Porter style beers.
